The Scientific Atlanta Prisma II Baseband Digital Reverse (BDR) System is tailor-made to help meet video-on-demand (VoD) and reverse-path traffic consolidation challenges. High-performance BDR technology provides the following benefits:

These features come together to provide over 96 potential reverse buses on one fiber using high-power 1550 ITU 7dBm lasers for over 100km reach! Time division multiplexing at the transmission end allows approximately four times the reverse bandwidth capacity for data and voice applications.
